Volunteering

What does it take to be a CASA volunteer?09_CASA_197_HI

Being a CASA volunteer does not require any special education or background, just a heart for children and a willingness to speak out and represent their best interests. You must be 21 or over,  pass background checks, participate in a 30-hour pre-service training course and agree to stay with a case until it is closed (a year and a half on average). We commit ourselves to being the constant to children in our care so the ability to follow a case to its closure is critical.

Please contact our office to get more information about becoming a CASA volunteer by calling 865.329.3399×4 or by email at: summer.colbert@casaofeasttn.org
